CMEConnect.org is managed by Blitz + Associates, Inc., a medical education company dedicated to quality, cost-efficient services, serving the healthcare industry since 1990. In addition, internet technology expertise is provided by Intersites, Inc. It will depend upon your current resources available for on line learning activities. What are the opportunities for industry-supported sponsorship of educational programs featured through CMEConnect.org and how will our organization and clinical audiences benefit? Hopefully, your membership currently benefits, in part, from the millions of dollars spent each year in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry by corporations providing grant funding or direct funding in support education. Through the resources of CMEConnect.org your members will gain access to a new world of educational programs easily accessible through web-based learning tools. The sponsorship of these learning activities, under accreditation guidelines, will enable your organization to expand its educational service line without making an investment in the technology or staff resources required to deliver the programs. We will jointly review the educational needs of your membership, potential industry sponsors for needed programs, and explore how CMEConnect.org will best complement your existing on line learning resources or enable you to cost-effectively and efficiently establish this resource for your membership or target audiences. The team of CMEConnect.org will manage all the other necessary steps involved to ensure the program is a success. Can CMEConnect.org serve as a Joint Sponsor of accredited programs for physicians, nurses and other professionals? How long does it take to develop an internet-based learning program and launch it to our membership? From an overall timeline perspective, it takes about four to six months to secure industry sponsorship funding, complete the program planning process, content development, production, accreditation, promotion, registration, and launch of a new internet based learning program such as a seminar/lecture web cast.
